How you can help us "Save Rural Andover Borough."

Andover Borough is a tiny hamlet on Route 206 in southern Sussex County. With a population of just over 650 people, it is difficult to fight a corporate giant like Beazer Homes without the help of friends and neighbors who share our concern for the rural quality of life here in Sussex County. If you would like to help protect this beautiful rural hillside, there are a number of things you can do to help:

Send Money. Save Rural Andover Borough, Inc operates solely by volunteers donating their time, and on financial donations from within our community and others with like-minded interests. We continue to incur professional services expenses for environmental studies and attorneys. Please note: We are currently only able to accept donations via postal mail. While online donations are an option, online companies would take a piece of your considerate donation for their own profit through transfer fees, and less would be available for us to put towards our work here in Andover Borough. Thank you for your understanding.

Volunteer your time. In the coming months, Save Rural Andover Borough will be arranging fund raising events, holding meetings, passing out flyers and attending local and state meetings. If you can spare a couple of hours a week, we can use your help. Send an email with your name and phone number to if you would like to volunteer to help.

Display a sign. Coming soon - Yard signs to show your support for Save Rural Andover Borough. Place one in front of your home, or in the window of your business and let your voice be heard!

Attend meetings. In the weeks and months ahead, there will be numerous Planning Board hearings and Council meetings where Save Rural Andover Borough will need to show the strength of our determination. Come to out speak, or come out to show your support. But please come out to these meetings and show your support.

Write letters to local papers. Voice your opinion in the local media. Save Rural Andover Borough encourages any resident of our region to share their concerns with their neighbors.
